A Practice Expedition and Presentation is no longer required at the Bronze level and is therefore no longer part of a Bronze level participant’s eDofE account. Practice Expedition and Presentation information will only be visible for those participants who have already had their whole Expedition section approved.
If a participant has completed their Bronze qualifying expedition (and received an Assessor’s Report) but has not completed a Practice or Presentation, then their expedition section may now be ready for Direct Approval, and appear in your Directly Approve notifications. They will only appear if they have completed their expedition since June 2017, although other participants can still be approved via their account.
Bronze level participants will no longer have Practice Expedition or Presentation subsections to complete, and the section end date will be the final day of the qualifying expedition.
The changes are made in Manage participants> Expedition Set up.
You can see there are only 3 drops down options for Bronze level.
1. Expedition Training
2. Practice and Qualifying expedition
3. Expedition reports for Supervisors and assessors
When you select the Practice and Qualifying expedition, Practice expedition button is greyed out in the Expedition type section.
Once the expedition information has been added below is what the section would look like.
Practice and Presentation section will have N/A shown.
If they have completed their full expedition or just completed their practice and presentation and has been approved by the participants DofE leader all the information will be shown on the screen.
