This October we are excited to announce upcoming development releases which brings a range of updates and improvements designed to enhance your eDofE experience. These changes aim to make processes smoother and more efficient for all users.
- Participant Web and App Update: We’re excited to announce an upcoming update to the participant eDofE website and mobile app. This release introduces a refreshed participant experience that’s faster, more secure, and aligned with our brand standards. While the core functionality remains the same, you may notice some subtle changes to the look and feel designed to improve usability and performance.
- Message Chains: To help users communicate more easily, we’re introducing message chains in eDofE. This new feature allows you to view your conversation history in a continuous thread, making it simpler to follow and understand the context of your messages. It’s a more familiar and intuitive experience, similar to popular messaging apps like WhatsApp.
- Queried award email notification: We are introducing email alerts for participants so that they are notified when their programme planner, section or the full award has been queried. This email will encourage the participant to access their account and action the query, saving a significant amount of time and increasing award completion.
- Programme planner updates: We’re simplifying the participant programme planner by removing the ‘Save to draft’ button and introducing auto-save. Now, any changes will be saved automatically when the participant leaves the page. Participants will also see a reminder to submit their planner to their leader, helping avoid confusion about whether it’s been submitted.
- End section reminder notification: A new reminder notification will be sent to participants after their earliest end date on a section. This is being introduced as often participants can lose track of the time, and they have completed the minimum required timeframe for a section, so this notification will encourage them to get their sections completed on eDofE.
