Internet browsers use a 'cache' to help speed up the page loading process. Sometimes your browser's cache can cause visual bugs on the webpage that is being viewed. By clearing your browser's cache, many problems will be resolved.
Clearing your cache does not affect any documents you have downloaded onto your computer or laptop.
On most browsers, you can clear your cache by pressing 'Ctrl'+'Shift'+'Delete'.
Cache clear on Google Chrome
To clear your cache on Chrome, press 'Ctrl'+'Shift'+'Delete'. You will then need to select 'Browsing history', 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'. Select 'Clear data' and close your browser. When you reopen it, your cache will be cleared.
Cache clear on Internet Explorer
To clear your cache on Internet Explorer, press 'Ctrl'+'Shift'+'Delete'. You will then need to select 'Temporary Internet files and website files', 'Cookies and website data', 'History' and 'Download History'. Select 'Delete' and close your browser. When you reopen it, your cache will be cleared.
Cache clear on Microsoft Edge
To clear your cache on Microsoft Edge, press 'Ctrl'+'Shift'+'Delete'. You will then need to select 'Browsing history', 'Cookies and saved website date', 'Cached data and files', 'Tabs that I've set aside or recently closed' and 'Download history'. Select 'Clear' and close your browser. When you reopen it, your cache will be cleared.
Cache clear on Mozilla Firefox
To clear your cache on Firefox, press 'Ctrl'+'Shift'+'Delete'. You will then need to select 'Browsing & Download History', 'Form and Search Hierarchy', 'Cookies' and 'Cache'. Select 'Clear Now' and close your browser. When you reopen it, your cache will be cleared.
