Forgotten Passwords
If a password has been forgotten, the participant should follow the instructions to reset their own password. They will require their username to reset the password.
To locate a participant's Username
1. Please find the participant's account via:-
- the search box at the top right of eDofE (you can use the participants eDofE ID number or Full name)
OR
- 'Manage participants' > 'Participant overview' in the left hand menu:
Choose from the available filters and click ‘Search’ to locate a participant’s profile. Click on the participants details to go to their profile.
2. On the participant profile page, the participant's Username can be found under the ‘Account Details’ tab:
From here the account password can also be changed by user's who have permission to do so. Please ensure you inform the account holder of any password changes.
Reports - User Information
A Leader can also download a report with this & other participant information, by clicking on 'Reports' on the left hand menu, selecting 'User Information' & selecting Location details:
If the participant account has 'New' status, this report also shows the date of birth which is the default password for the first time a participant logs in.
