Please note: You will be asked to check/update your basic information yearly – it will still take you to the same account.
This is my first time logging into the App, what do I need to do?
If you have never logged into eDofE before, then the first time you log into the App you will need to set up your DofE profile and select your timescales for the different sections of your award.
To create your profile, you will need to go through basic information and enter the mandatory details in the following steps:
Step 1 - Contact details
Enter your house number / name or postcode and tap on your full address. Your address will be automatically populated. You can edit any of these fields if need be.
You can also enter parent or carer contact details if you wish to do so.
Step 2 - Account details
Set a new password for your account. It must be:
- a minimum of 12 characters long
- include at least one uppercase letter
- include at least one lowercase letter
- contain at least one number.
Step 3 - Personal details
Enter the mandatory personal details.
If you are completing the gold award in Northern Ireland, you will have the option to select which certificate type you want.
Step 4 - Communication preferences
Select whether you would like to receive DofE offers, events and Expedition kit emails.
Step 5 - Activate your account
Read and confirm you accept the terms of use and privacy statement before activating your account.
Tap the ‘Save’ button to complete your account setup. If the ‘Save’ button is greyed out please check you have completed all the mandatory fields.
If your account has been successfully set up, you should see the following screen:
Step 6 - Select your Timescales
You’ll need to select how much time you wish to spend on each section of your Award.
Once you’ve selected your desired option, tap the ‘Save’ button.
You’ve now completed your account setup and you'll be able to navigate to each section of your award level.
When your timescales have been set, you can start adding programme planners for each section.
