Certificate of Achievement - Adults

Participants who have successfully completed 3 sections of their Award on eDofE are eligible to receive a Certificate of Achievement. As an adult account holder on eDofE you are able to send it directly to your participant on eDofE OR send it to your participant and print out the certificate yourself.

Who can print certificates? 

This function is available to Leader accounts and above that have the ‘Can download personal
information to CSV files’ permission applied. If you don't have this permission and need it, you will need to speak to your DofE Manager.
 

To print / send a Certificate of Achievement

1. In the navigation menu click on 'Award Approvals > Certificate of Achievement'.

2. Use the search filters to narrow down your search. You will need to complete all required fields (marked with an *) in the 'Location' filter.

You can also choose to only display certain levels of the Award, or narrow your search using the Start/End Date fields.

You can 'show only those records where the certificate has not been printed' by placing a tick in the tick box.

3. Click 'Search' to display the participant accounts which meet the search criteria you have entered.

If a certificate of achievement has already been sent/printed, the date this occurred will be shown n the relevant column. Otherwise 'Not Sent' or 'Not printed' will be displayed.

A certificate can be 'Sent' but not printed, so it is possible for their to be a date in the 'Sent Date' column but not the 'Certificate Print Date' column.

4. Place a tick in the box next to the participant's Name. You can select multiple participants at once.

To 'Send to participant'

i) Click the 'Send to Participant' button. 

Once successful a message will show on the top right-hand corner and the 'Sent Date' will be updated. 

To 'Send to participant and Print Certificate' 

ii) Click the 'Send to Participant and Print Certificate' button.

The 'Sent Date' and 'Certificate Print Date' dates will be updated on eDofE.
