I’ve forgotten my Username
If you don't know your Username, please contact your DofE leader or DofE Manager who should be able to provide this for you.
Alternatively, you can email the IT Service Desk edofe@dofe.org. Please provide your full name, eDofE ID Number, date of birth and the Licensed Organisation / School you are registered with.
For safeguarding reasons only the account holder can change their password or Username on eDofE.
I’ve forgotten my password
You can reset the password for your eDofE account from the eDofE login page. You will need to know your Username.
1. Go to Sign In | eDofE and click on the ‘Forgot password’ link.
2. You will be taken to the Forgot Password screen. You will need to enter your eDofE Username and click 'Submit'.
Please note: Ensure you enter you Username and not your email address.
3. A confirmation message will appear briefly in the top right of the screen:
4. A password reset link will be sent to the email address on your account through which you will be able to reset your password.
Please check your spam/junk folder too. If you do not receive an email, contact your DofE leader or Manager to confirm the email address on your account. Alternatively, you can email the IT Service Desk edofe@dofe.org. Please provide your full name, eDofE ID Number, date of birth and the Licensed Organisation / School you are registered with.
5. Click on the link in the password reset email. This will take you to the Reset Password page where you can enter a new password for your eDofE account.
Please enter and confirm your new password, then click ‘Submit’.
The password must be 12 characters or longer and contain at least one Uppercase letter, one Lowercase letter and one number.
6. You will receive on screen confirmation that your password has been successfully changed. A confirmation email will also be sent to you.
Click on the ‘Login’ button to be redirected to the eDofE Login Page. You should now be able to login to your account using your new password.
When logging in to eDofE
If your username/password combination is incorrect, you will see an error message in the top right corner of the screen:
If you enter your password incorrectly five times, you will see a message stating that you have three attempts left:
If you enter your password incorrectly 8 times, you will be locked out of your account for 24 hours – we cannot override this security feature.
