A major cause of queried Awards is participants doing activities that are not admissible, meaning that they cannot complete their programme and achieve their Award. By reviewing draft sections early you can check the participant is doing an activity that meets the aims and requirements for each section.
If you are unsure about a certain activity - whether it's suitable for the section, or simply which section it belongs in - contact your LO Manager or DofE Operations Officer who will advise you. The DofE Leaders Handbook also provides guidance.
You can view sections that have been in draft for more than 30 days.
1. Go to Manage Participants > Participant overview > search for participants using the 'Location' search box and tick the 'Highlight draft sections started more than a month ago' filter
2. Participants whose sections have been in draft for more than 30 days will be shown.
3. To approve a programme planner in draft, click on the purple draft icon for the section you wish to approve and click the 'Directly approve programme planner' button:
4. A notification will appear in the top right hand corner of the page.
Please contact us at eDofE@DofE.org if you have any further issues.
