If you are a participant and want to change your activity please read this article - How do I change my activity?
Once a participant's programme planner has been approved, they are able to submit an activity change request to their DofE Leader. Changing activity allows a participant to switch the activity they’re doing for their section.
The total time of both activities combined must equal the timescale for that section. If a participant has changed their activity, they will need assessor's reports for both activities - How do I add two assessor reports to a section?
If the participant has already had a change request submitted and approved, they will no longer see the 'Change activity' link but will be able to 'Revert to draft' and edit their programme planner:
Approving a change request
Once a participant has submitted an activity change request, the Leader will get an alert and will be able to approve the new activity. To do so:
1. Click on 'Alerts' in the navigation menu
All sections with a white warning triangle on an orange circle require attention.
2. Click on a section to view the activity change request. The new activity is in black text and the old activity is in red text:
3. Click the 'Activity Change Request' button to approve or reject the change.
You will need to enter a reason for accepting or rejecting the request. This will be sent to the participant.
4. A notification will be shown in the top right hand corner of the page to confirm the changes have been approved or rejected.
Once it's been approved, you can view the old activity by clicking the 'View Previous Activity' button.
The details of the previous activity will be shown.
