Please note: If the section has been submitted for approval or completed, additional assessor reports can be submitted but will not be added to the participant's account until the section is reopened / queried.
How do I add two Assessor Reports to a section?
Under certain circumstances a participant may require two assessor reports to be uploaded. For example, if a participant has submitted an activity change request and changed their activity, they will need two assessor reports to cover both activities.
The reports can be added by their assessors via the online Assessor's Report portal. Participants and adults can also upload assessor reports as pictures, text or in other forms (Word, PDF files etc.).
Reports that are not flagged by our safeguarding system are sent to the participants account and are visible immediately. Reports that are flagged by our safeguarding system are held for review and can take up to 72 hours to be visible on the participant’s account. Please be reassured, if an assessor receives a confirmation email, the report will have been successfully submitted.
On eDofE, only one piece of evidence can be marked as an assessor's report, Having a piece of evidence marked as an assessor's report does not stop the assessor from submitting another report. The participant will then have two reports on their section, one will be marked and the other will not.
The first assessor report will be added to the participant's section and will automatically be marked as an assessor's report. Any additional assessor reports will be uploaded and marked as an assessor report, causing the first assessor report to be unmarked. It will remain in the 'Evidence' tab.
In the example above, the original assessor report (highlighted in grey) was added via the portal and automatically marked as an assessor report. When the second assessor report (highlighted in black) was added via the Assessors Portal, this was automatically marked as the assessor's report, therefore replacing the first report.
The first report remains on the participant's profile as evidence.
